When we met with Olde Goat Cafe we found that their craving for a rebrand was centered around building community. They reached a point where their original brand wasn’t opening opportunities for growth in that direction and they were struggling to compete with their competitors. We needed to build an identity that could make waves in their community.
With the entire rebrand we wanted to create a vibe that felt at home in their hardware store location, while also telling its own story. Our research pointed us towards a direction that felt warm, strong, industrial, chill and crafted. Taking in the influences of the hardware store, history of the town and lifestyle of their customer, we knew we wanted the typography to have an apothecary inspired look that felt rooted in craftsmanship. We needed something that felt familiar, strong and crafted.
“Janelle is a rock star. She sees things before I even did. I knew what direction I wanted to go, but I feel like she gave us a voice for our business. Everything is handled with love and care down to the smallest detail. You can tell when someone is passionate about their business and loves to help people in the best way they know how and HoneyFig has that.”
